New Zealand Association of Science Educators

Welcome to NZASE

The New Zealand Association of Science Educators (NZASE) is the national organisation which represents the interests of New Zealand teachers of science. NZASE is made up of regional associations under the leadership of a national executive elected for a period of four years. With members in over 500 primary, intermediate and secondary schools and representation in tertiary institutions, NZASE can fairly claim to be the voice of science teachers at all levels. NZASE's aim is the promotion of science education. This is greatly enhanced by its affiliation to The Royal Society of New Zealand.
